I know it's been a really long time. A really, really long time. But I do have a good excuse, I promise...
Very early in August, we found out that we were going to be blessed with another child. Yup, that's right y'all, I'm pregnant...
14 weeks so far. Anyway, why should that keep me from writing my blog or creating things?
Ever hear of Hyperemesis Gradivarum? Yeah... me either, until this pregnancy that is.
It started at 6 weeks... uncontrollable nausea and vomiting. I'm not talking about morning sickness. I mean all-day-can't-keep-nothin'-down sickness. This has literally been hell.
I hate to complain because I know there are people out there who want to be pregnant so bad and for some reason or another are struggling. but, this is a very lonely problem. People think I'm being dramatic, or that I'm just making it up for sympathy. This is not fake and it isn't something that is easy to go through.
Anyway, I just wanted to let y'all know that I am getting the medicine I need now and will return to the world of creativity and blogging soon.
I also wanted to publicly shout out to those who have helped me survive... My mother, grandmothers and my adorable and long-suffering husband.
Without them my toddler would have eaten popsicles and cheese everyday and I would have wasted away on the floor in the messiest house on the block.
I love them for loving me enough to give of their time and resources to take care of me and little man.
I also want to thank those of you who have been there to talk to me and offer support through conversation and love. You know who you are!
I will be back.... with a whole new set of crafts (baby inspired!)
