A Jewelry Solution

When the hubs and I got married, I had enough jewelry to fit in a tiny little bag.... And now I'm bustin' out y'all... It makes it hard to remember what you have and I wind up wearing the same ol' thing all the time or losing one earring never to be seen again in the bottom of my jewelry drawer.

Well, I found this little shelf from a picker at the antique store that I have a booth at, and I had to have it. I originally bought it to display jewelry in the future craft shows that I am sure I am going to participate in when I get my junk together.....

Anyway... I saw the edges of these shelves and the towel bar and I had a "AH-HA" explosion in my head!

Turn the sucker upside-down!

So, I did... drilled some holes and screwed it to the wall in my closet. Then added the bling.

I'm in LOVE y'all.

The holes in the edges are perfect for my earring and necklace charms {I'll be showing you those soon... I made 'em!}

the towel bar is perfect for my bracelets and the bangles can sit on the shelf directly under them.

I am using the bottom shelf for perfume because little man keeps stealing my perfume and saying "mmm... du-wish-usss." You're not supposed to eat that stuff buddy.... yuck.

Since I took these pictures I broke out some jewelry wire and made little hooks for the bottom shelf holes to hang my necklaces on.

I can now see EVERYTHING I own and it is fabulous...

Plus, I probably won't go buying anything I already have, I just buy NEW things!

Haha... yeah right.... I have started looking at all store-bought jewelry with the "I-could-totally-make-that-for-half-the-price" look........ but never do :(

Hope y'all have a GREAT day!
