Well, it's happening again... We are about to get some winter weather. Last time, it was snow with a little ice. This time it looks like we are going to have ice with a little snow.
Dont' get me wrong, I love snowy weather... I love getting in my ski clothes and trudging around in the beautiful white stuff.... but, I hate ice! It causes our roads to freeze, travel to stop, and the trees to get so heavy with frozen crystals that the limbs break and cut the power lines.
THAT is when the snow/ice gets irritating.
So... to cheer us up today I thought I might share a few more inspirations for baby girl's room.
1. I want some type of navy blue curtains... Not solid navy, but a navy pattern.
2. I want a creative mobile. I think I could DIY something like this one with gold stars.
3. Have you ever seen a vintage chenille blanket? I have one that was my great grandmothers. We are going to use it to make her bumpers and bedding. So adorable!
4. Gold accent pillows like this one, because she will be FABULOUS!
5. I want to introduce some mint green along with the peonies. Maybe in a painted mason jar.
6. I also need a table to sit next to my nursing chair. I usually keep tissues, water and a snack nearby.
All these things are starting to come together in my mind... It's almost time to go shopping!!
I can't wait!
Now if we could just get rid of this winter weather!
